Welcome to my new blog and website formally known as "Gracious Writing Ministries"!
Where do I begin? So much has happened and been happening in my life, our life and the lives of our family members. But one thing has remained constant throughout all the ups and downs; the highs and lows; the valleys and mountains, and that is---that we stayed the course through it all. We stayed the course of the plan and path God had given us during all the life transitions and adjustments we've had to make this year.
This year put us on a path of pursuing a ministry of our own. We've found a wonderful new home church which we became official members in Feb of this year. We gave them the proposal for a marriage ministry and they accepted gladly. (Even so we are meeting to start planning for the new year. Our ministry will become official in 2015.)
Since then we have been doing all the required qualification work by attending classes and training for leadership in the church. We are working our way up to be recognized ministers in the church. We are the leaders of our twelve o'clock church service greeters. And we've been getting assimilated into the life, community and culture of the church (which we have completed successfully!)

So in thinking about how to streamline everything I found that I cannot separate my faith, belief and Christianity from who I am and my personal life. My faith has everything to do with how I live and conduct my life on a personal, professional, and daily basis. So here are the major categories of writing I will be covering and writing about:
1. Ministry Writing
2. Personal Writingthe
3. Business Writing
So what you will find are some everyday stuff from the personal side of life. My writing ministry ministers to be. It's how I keep myself encouraged and inspired to stay the course and fight the good fight of faith. This is where the word of God comes alive and shines through life's darkness. Then there's some business side of writing, as I am also looking to start my own professional freelance writing business. There will be more information on all these in the up coming days and weeks. But for now I just wanted to give you a heads up of what you will find here when you visit.
Writing for me is very therapeutic. So when I write, in many ways I am writing to and for myself as well as those who will happen by and read it also. It is my way of weaving the different strands of my life together in a coherent and comprehensive way that I can partly understand what is happening or going on.
So I look forward to sharing with you all!
