How are we all doing today; this beautiful "Day that the Lord has made!"?
The Past week has been a busy one for us with DH's birthday and Valentine's Day. Yep! from Thursday to Thursday.
We celebrated his birthday and Valentine day together on Saturday, by going to Dave and Buster's. (A dream finally come true for him.) He was so excited and we had such a great time. We both forgot how enjoyable it is to just hang out and be. We forgot how much we really enjoy doing things like this together. All I could say is "Wow! Lord!"
We also invited the people we've been meeting with to join us on this outing as our small group meeting for the week. So this week our small group met at Dave and Buster's.
It was a great time had by all. A great place to be during a snow storm, if you have some money. But all in all, it wasn't bad or any worse than any other establishment that is frequented by families. (Actually, it was quite awesome. Can't wait to go back.)
It was a good weekend because he had the weekend off. First time in like, forever, (ok so I'm exaggerating some). It's just so nice and humbling when you see the plan of God come together for your life, but you have to hang in there in order to see it happen.
This birthday and Valentine day of 2015 was truly a blessing to be long remembered as the time when God gave him the desire of his heart: and that was to go to Dave and Buster's!
What a great way to start a new year: with the favor of the Lord on your side!
